One of the keystones and without whom our existence would have been questionable is Mr. PV Balasubramanian, the Founder and Managing Director of Rinac India limited. He holds experience of 12 years in the field of HVAC and an overall familiarity with the refrigeration and insulation industry for more than 38 years.
He worked relentlessly towards providing India with the best cooling as well as clean construction solutions and raised the strength of this organization to 600 plus associates within no time. During this time he put to work most capably, his accumulated information on his specialized subject Heat and Mass transfer.
During Y2K period P. V. B was been actively involved in the ISHRAE chapteractivities, was the President of Bangalore Chapter of ISHRAE, and followed by Regional Director of Indian Society of Heating & Refrigerating Engineer (ISHRAE). He was member of ASHRAE (The American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers) for a decade & also member of international institute of ammonia refrigeration.
He has left no stone unturned to educate the Indian minds towards innovations in the production and usage of cold storages. He encouraged the shift in this industry from the traditional insulation to the novel sandwiched panels and modularized construction and packaged refrigeration systems. His understanding the subject so in-depth, makes him a perfect leader and mentor to all working within the organization.
Lending more support to our MD, is our Founder and Jt. Managing Director, Mr. P. Sukumaran. The company has seen great heights for the kind of assistance he has lent to the company over the years. It was by his efforts in union with the other heads that the concept of ‘Farm to fork’ became a reality.He is an engineer by profession with a civil engineering degree with specialization in structural design.
The provision of clean modular construction solutions was also made possible with operations both in Pan India and as exports because of his rigorous efforts to drive the team innovatively. It was under his expert supervision that the Rinac team was driven to achieve new heights in developing a mobile F &V solar powered retail distribution vehicle which earned the company the prestigious CII Design Excellence Award 2021.
Mr. Sukumaran has been thus contributing robustly to the growth of the company for the past 27 years and more. Apart from being a dedicated professional he has displayed his humane side and giving back to the society during the Covid times. It was owing to his persistence that something as helpful as a modular and mobile ICU was crafted and developed to help the masses.
We are honoured by the presence of this veteran whose able leadership has made 6 patents pipelined for Rinac at various stages of approval.
A dairy technology graduate from Gujarat Agricultural University (1984, distinction) and IIM Ahmedabad (1986), Nagarajan has over three decades of leadership across FMCG, consumer electronics, and agribusiness. He began at Nestlé India in manufacturing, learning hygienic practices, followed by eight years at Cadbury in projects, manufacturing, and sales. As Sales Director at Frito-Lay India, he led national sales before moving to Philips India, where he headed sales, business units, and later HR, managing post-merger integrations. He served seven years as MD at Mother Dairy, overseeing fruits & vegetables, edible oils, and dairy, gaining exposure to policy-driven, public-sector-linked operations. Since 2018, he has been with Omnivore and is also Senior Advisor at Tata Trusts. He has held independent directorships at leading companies and served on CII and FICCI committees. His career reflects expertise in sales, operations, strategy, HR, and governance across diverse sectors.
Shri. N. S. Venkatesh, Chartered Accountant and banking veteran, served as Chief Executive of AMFI (2017–2023). With over three decades in banking, he held senior roles at IDBI and Lakshmi Vilas Bank, leading treasury, international banking, and strategic transformations. He contributed to RBI and SEBI committees, chaired FIMMDA, and managed large treasury operations. He currently serves on several corporate boards and is a respected financial markets voice.
Dr. Ambujam Nair Kapoor

Dr. Ambujam Nair Kapoor is a seasoned public health expert with over 30 years’ experience in immunization, epidemiology, and research leadership. Formerly Scientist G at ICMR and Senior Advisor to India’s Ministry of Health, she brings deep strategic and technical insight to national health initiatives. She has led vaccine introduction, health systems strengthening, and policy development with WHO, UNICEF, and other global agencies. As an Independent Woman Director at Rinac, Dr. Kapoor contributes scientific rigor, governance experience, and a commitment to ethical leadership — strengthening Rinac’s board diversity and its focus on sustainability, public health impact, and social responsibility.
Gracing the board of directors is the Nominee Director Mr. K. Parasuraman, a retired civil servant from the revenue department of India. He dedicated thirty seven years of his life to the Indian Revenue Services and during all these years became an erudite on the subject of taxation. He is a Post-graduate from Delhi University.
He hasextensively dealt with the taxation policies related to the commodity taxation in Customs and Central Excise.He retired as Vice-Chairman, Settlement Commission (Central Excise & Customs).
Taking this knowledge he made his presence into the precincts of Rinac and since then has been nothing less than an able leader and a great mind into taking decisions on various aspects for the betterment of the organization.
P.V. Venkiteswaran, M Sc tech, commenced his career as an executive in Brooke Bond India Limited and served in various departments like Quality control Production and Research & development for about a period of 10 years.
In 1985 his journey as an entrepreneur began with the formation of a private limited company, which manufactured and marketed biscuits in Kerala and Tamil Nadu.
Subsequently developed a construction and real estate development business.
Involved from inception in the setup of Rinac and continue to be as a non executive Director, supporting the Board ,providing moral strength to the endeavors of the Company.
Currently, time is pleasantly divided between professional activities and accomplishing personal pursuits.
Setting a bench mark for all his contemporaries and an exemplary feat for his subordinates, Soji Abraham Poovelil, one of our Sr. Vice Presidents, has an epic contribution to the genre of business development and international sales. It is his experience close to 3 decades that speaks volumes about his mettle in marketing and sales. He is a BE and MBA by qualification.
He has exhibited exceptional expertise in positions sales manager not just in Rinac but in other companies as well nationally and internationally. His active participation in philanthropic work has perhaps added the cherry to the cake. He has been associated with a lot of charitable works which makes him not just a professional but also a very amiable human being.

His love for fellow humans finds fruition in his current association with Dream India Network, Kerala Samajam Charitable Society that has taken up the cause of supporting underprivileged in providing them better health and education.He also works with Marthoma opportunity School, Bangalore to skill the Differently abled Students , he is associated with KE Mentoring Committee – to mentor entrepreneurs and in his busy schedule found time to support Karnataka Government in monitoring the COVID spread during the first wave.
Business operations finds its true meaning in the workings of Mr. NK Mohanan, the Senior Vice President – he looks after the total business operations of South & East region and also headsthe Service & Project Division business pan India. An excellent team builder for the past 20 years Mr. Mohanan has made the company taste accomplishments time and again, playing on the front-foot. His entrepreneurial skills are par excellence and the reason behind the achievement of faster and effective goals.
Rinac is proud of have the likes of veteran such as Mr. Mohanan on board, who has worked for 15 years in the Indian navy in the naval architecture and ship construction division. He was responsible of looking into the care and maintenance of the ship both onboard and offshore.
Mr. Sivakumar has commendable experience of 28 years in championing Engineering and Construction solutions. He is adept at understanding varied and deep requirements of our clients in industries such as Food Processing, Pharma, Retail, Logistics, Horticulture, Marine, HORECA, Warehousing, etc, and suggests cost-effective, practical, and quick-to-build solutions for our clients. A thorough Refrigeration Professional, Mr. Sivakumar has been instrumental in arriving at a go-to-market strategy for new products at Rinac.
He is a BE graduate in Mechanical by education. He is also a Life Member of ISHRAE & Board Member of AARI 2015 – 2018.
The business group of Rinac has found its best leader in the likes of Mr. Nirdosh Sharma. Although we have been connected just for three years, yet there is no denying the sea change that Mr. Sharma has brought about in handling the business operations in the North of the country.
Mr. Sharma has brought to the table an overall experience of about 24 years in the industry. It is in lieu of this expertise that his methods of business dealings and managing the PAN India Dealer division has experienced a boom.
His international exposure in places like Dubai, South Korea, Singapore, etc. and the various business and leadership programs that he has undertaken has perhaps made him a pro at what he does. A Mechanical Engineer with PGDBA in marketing and operations made him eligible to gain knowledge at renowned companies such as Blue Star, Voltas, LG, Carrier Aircon and Somotex Ghana.
It was with this experience that his advent at Rinac added value to the company in terms of managing and motivating teams, liaising and management of accounts. Under him the business operations has already witnessed remarkable expansions in the network.
His is a LG certified trainer for VRF AC Systems; Trained LG Electronics in South Korea & Dubai, at Fujitsu General in Singapore. Diploma in System Designing (PEET) from Carrier Aircon. Have undergone various Behavioral, Leadership & other programs. He is also a member of ISHRAE Delhi chapter.
Playing a very crucial role, Mr. K Ramesh Babu has very efficiently performed the role of an in-charge of the interface between Rinac and the customers. It is owing to his efforts that the execution of the projects is much easier and effective.An M. E. in Mechanical Engineering, he is a Certified Energy Auditor.
An unmatched experience of 40 years in the industry makes him a perfect fit for Rinac. He is adept at handling a large team of people and it is this unique ability that he has to put work at our company and added value to it. His team mates and other younger employees get a lot to learn from when it comes to maintenance of the deadlines and costs for every project.
His past involvements in the roles of operations manager and manager internationally, gives him an edge over his peers. Mr. Babu’s efforts as the Vice President of Project Coordination is a spectacle for every budding manager. His knowledge of coordinating a project at the back of his hand helps his perform brilliantly and steers the company’s mission and vision towards realization.
Serving Rinac India Limited for the past 27 years and with an experience of more than 32 years, Mr. Madhu KR functions as a senior Vice President of Manufacturing. Completing his masters from the University of Calicut, Kerala, the advent of this eager to contribute individual has only brought positive additions to the company.
His dedication is what keeps him and his subordinates within the workplace motivated. He has time and again proved his grit for the company by putting to work all his cognizance into this organization that he picked up from his association with M/s Venu & Venu associates and M/s modular cold rooms pvt.ltd. It is his sheer devotion and enthusiasm towards his work that he has been constantly contributing in steering Rinac towards becoming a 1000 Crore company.

The Vice President of Finance and accounts in Rinac, Mr. Dinesh Bhandary is now associated with us for the last four years. He is a true leader in the way he displays his skills as the head of Finance& Accounts. He absolutely aces finance, audit and taxation. He stands tall in his execution of fund raising, working capital management, debt restructuring, project accounting, P & L operations, company secretarial & legal matters and a host of other things. His education includes BCOM, FC, ACS,DIEM and DICA.
He is highly trained individual in various subjects and from different parts of the world such as UK, Dubai, and certainly from within the country. His honesty and integrity are traits that need to be inculcated in every business minded individual.
His experiences in the industry, which include the positions of general manager, head of finance, and director of finance are the tools of his job. He uses his knowledge smartly and correctly to take Rinac to novel heights of stardom. He is reputed to have successfully reduced the rate of interest and financial cost of operations in his previous workplace.
Rinac has been positively affected by this focused individual who is known to have received an approval for generating a whopping 1400 crore rupees from a financial institution, in the past. Performing his responsibility to the best of his abilities is Mr. Pawan Kumar, working in the position of the Vice President – HR. His skills of employee engagement and training the new recruits is totally magnificent. It is therefore that he has been bestowed upon with the responsibility of overseeing all aspects of the HR policies. He is an Engineering Graduate with Post Graduation in HR from IIT Kharagpur.
He has spent almost 18 years in this industry and gathered unique and hands-on experience for 16 years at Rinac. Over the years his analytical, strategical, and leading thought process has always come to the forefront. He is thoroughly trained in leadership, labour codes and PoSH.
Mr. Pawan’s vast spectrum of knowledge in the category is the outcome of his dedication to his studies right from college where he received a gold medal in his post-graduation course from IIT Kharagpur. He is known to move forward with the vision and mission of the company and contribute to the best of his abilities.
It is because of this attitude of his that he has been given the responsibility of management of performance and compensation. He is also seen to be ably carry out his duty of talent acquisition, succession planning and industrial relation.
He is an Excellence Certificate holder in AISSE. He also has a social side where he contributes to PM Care Fund and CMRF (Chief Minister’s Relief Fund).
