Head -Supply Chain

“Head -Supply Chain” who will be solely in charge in the company for continuously identifying opportunities to reduce cost to the company in the supply chain and entering into contracts with potential partners

Qualification & Experience:

Graduation (B.Tech) and Post Graduate Diploma/MBA in Supply Chain/ Material Management and minimum experience of 10 yrs in supply chain

Expectation by the company :

“Head – Supply Chain” will lead in developing &executing supply chain solutions that will enable the organization to meet supply chain requirements, analyze demand requirements to identify supply bottlenecks & recommend actions for resolution. Accountable for strategy planning, vendor coordination, inventory management, process improvements, cost optimization and team management.

“Head – Supply Chain” will identify items/areas for cost saving in purchase and logistics and contribute to overall increase of profitability of the company by bringing in reduction of total cost of material purchased and logistics by the company by1.5 % in the first year and 2.5 % in the second year , with respect to previous year, derived at , without accounting for the general commodity price variations in the market

Head Supply chain will motivate /guide /build the team and the coordinate for identification and implementation of any system and process improvements & use of Digital medium for supply chain activities

Key Responsibilities:

• Design & develop systems and procedures that assures availability of materials & transportation in accordance with Just-in-Time delivery schedules, while maintaining minimum inventory
• Define and develop the vendor SLAs for the spares and monitoring SLA adherence for FG on a regular basis; engaged in negotiations/re-negotiations, alternate sourcing initiatives and other measures for improved procurement efficiencies.
• Responsible for New Vendor development and implementation of sourcing strategy
• Supervise the overall supply chain & procurement operations and enhancing the operational efficiency by eliminating obsolescence and achieving cost reduction by utilizing various level of negotiation, materials management and inventory control
• Entrust with the responsibility of supplier relationship management by strengthening relation with suppliers and implementing supplier management procedures
• Managing contracts as well as the internal systems and procedures to operate more profitably
• Workout on effective sourcing strategies -Bulk purchase planning based on seasonably for competitive pricing and storing of same.
• Implement new systems to support tracking and tracing capability for documentation and reporting
• Provide assistance in value engineering and coordination for Project Stretch
• Leveraged technology to bring in increased productivity and operational excellence; developed a delivery tracking software
• Coordinating with the Quality Team for ensuring optimal quality assurance for the overall procurement.
• Developing high-level implementation plans, and determining future logistics organizational structure/supportensuring Delivery-in- Full (DIF) and Delivery-on-Time (DOT)
• Ensuring 100% compliance for all procurement processes in line with the statutory and company guidelines and norms.
• Preparing MIS reports of inward / outward logistics with a view to appraise top management and users of the routine inventory management activities
