Manager Design – Refrigeration

“Manager Design -Refrigeration”  who will be responsible for on time preparation of error free document for Refrigeration & Electrical production & Installation as per agreed TAT.

Qualification & Experience

Diploma OR Graduation (B.Tech) in Mechanical / Thermal Engineering minimum experience of 10 yrs in design field. Basic knowledge in Autocad 2D & 3D / progeCAD. Additional knowledge in new design software like Solidworks,Autodesk Revit ,SketchUp etc. and ERP software SAP.

Expectation by the company:

• “Manager Design – Refrigeration” who will be responsible on time preparation of error free Production/ procurement document based on the details received from respective branches, against the Jobs booked. This is to enable the organization to meet /support billing as per the projection.
• “Manager Design – Refrigeration” will be responsible to prepare error free document , for Production and Installation which will eliminate No. of ECN.
• “Manager Design – Refrigeration” should identify items /area where can reduce material cost through value engineering to increase profitability of the company.
• “Manager Design – Refrigeration” should collaborate with Industry Experts and bring in most efficient and cost effective Refrigeration systems and control for the Company to upgrade and way path for growth.
• “Manager Design – Refrigeration” should collaborate with Purchase and bring in cost reduction of Products and release updated Price list, periodically.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Study the customer requirement in detail.
• Interact with EPE for clarifications on document, if any and educate EPEs on proper documentations, to avoid re-works/ECNs.
• Arrange to Prepare the separate Job file for each project and file all the input documents.
• Arrange to Prepare the production drawing ,BOM , Fabrication drawings and packing list. Verify , approve and circulate.
• Identify the non standard items and provide different ideas for processing.
• Online verification of SAP uploaded document and approve.
• Arrange to Prepare the final installation drawing and circulate .
• Refrigeration & Electrical job Document maintenance as per ISO procedure.
• Maintain daily Report on day to day Job as per agreed procedure in excel sheet.
• Monthly minimum one site visit and submit the report .
• Visit of similar product Exhibitions -Half yearly Target one number.
• Need to attend/conduct internal training on Refrigeration product related subject in coordination with RCET.
